Today is the first time I have ever blogged or kept a journal as far as I can remember. I leave for London, in route to Italy, tomorrow. This will be my first time traveling outside of the country besides a few trips to Canada. I envy the savvy and tested travelers who don't get nervous for trips like this because I have progressively felt more anxious over the past two weeks. I will be taking lots of pictures and keeping this as current as possible. Traveling throughout Europe is something I have wanted to do for a while and I am really excited to make the most of it.

Cam will be arriving in London today. He will meet with his AIFS representative and group. No events have been organized apart from a welcome drink to meet his fellow students at the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum. I'm sure he will be off exploring... Expecting to hear from him soon. :) (*London is 6 hrs.ahead.)
ReplyDeleteHey Cam...
ReplyDeleteSorry haven't had a chance to talk to you before leaving. Had a huge software conversion this summer that overloaded me.
Feel free to ask me questions...especially if you go to Paris since I've been 5 times. There may be a few places we don't want your mom to know about.... Also been to Venice twice & all over Europe albeit a few years ago.
Have a great time!!!!!!!!
U Ron

ReplyDeleteCams London stopover continues.. Today they are out and about on a sightseeing tour of London with a professional guide. The tour will last approx. 3 hrs and there will be stops at sights such as Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. At the conclusion of the tour Cam will have free time to sightsee on his own. At this point in time he does not have internet access or cell service. Once he arrives in Italy he will have both (9/18). I spoke with the AIFS representative and she said all is well. I sure hope Cam calls me soon!!!!
